Your Child's Eye Examination
Did you know 80% of learning is through vision?
Undetected eye problems can lead to long-term loss of vision and poor school performance.
Children should have their first vision examination by an eye doctor before kindergarten to detect vision problems, which may cause difficulties with learning. No child is too young for an eye exam if a problem is suspected.
A comprehensive vision exam includes eye health evaluation, eye movement and focusing skills, and refraction for near and far sightedness and astigmatism.
