Corneal Topography
Corneal Topography allows us to precisely map the corneal shape in order to determine good candidates for laser vision correction and contact lens fitting. It is particularly useful following refractive surgery patients to exactly see the results of the surgery. We take topographic images on every contact lens patient to be certain the existing lenses are not distorting the cornea. Our topographer measures over 14,000 points on the corneal surface and the results are networked to the exam room for the doctor and patient to review together.
